Some not all players get really really upset if you prepurchase. Like really furious :smiley: its our money let us pay the $90 for it! Its cheaper than going to a baseball game

tokens were down to 140k-ish a couple months back. Easy to stock up on bnet balance. They’ve surged past 205k as of this post.

Makes sense for those passionate about the game.

It’s like when I try to train my dog and my sister and parents keep spoiling it ruining any progress I make. Blizz doesn’t need to be spoiled through preorders so they can slack off for the expansion people are hoping will turn out well.

But people have the memories of fish and blizz will never learn so it is what it is. Let people be upset.

They have a point. It’s rewarding them for work they’re yet to do. And it has resulted in unfinished pieces of “work” more than a couple of times.

Make them earn your money. You would apply this principle in most other aspects of life.

One day people will figure out that no one cares if they like a product or not. I spend my money on what I like, not what Rando#32 likes (or doesn’t).

and no one cares that you spend money on what you like. I care about what I like and wont give them money until the product is worth it. I care about the game being treated with respect. You just want to spend money because youre an addict.

Or, stay with me now, I am spending money because I don’t value $50 nearly as highly as you seem to. If it’s that big of a deal to you, then by all means, don’t prepurchase. As long as I have fun leveling/initial endgame it will be worth the $50. Even WoD was worth that much and I was unsubbed 90% of the xpac.

I dont pay a sub since I had wow tokens paying for my sub from WoD.

That’s what my SO is doing (and has done since the token was usable in that way). I tend to spend my gold as fast as I make it on race changes and whatnot so cash it is. :slight_smile:

No, I spend my money because I have enough money to spend it on things that bring me enjoyment. WoW is a hell of a lot cheaper than going to the movies or my reading obsession.
