just say you want the easier fight. you got this far. the easier fight is the one blizzard intends on recreating btw. against the original designer’s intent. blizzard would rather make the game easier than follow the original designer’s intent, even with the evidence right in front of them.
Joyson we know you want PTR Sapph, and your argument for it might hold some merit if you just stated so.
Instead you frame your argument specifically to make it look as if Blizzard is giving us an inaccurate nerfed Sapphiron that people didn’t fight in 2006, which is a lie. And ofc, rather than owning up to it, you instead keep reusing your cherry picked portion of a bluepost to try and prove your lie.
It’s pretty insidious of you to try to convince new Naxx raiders that they’re facing nerfed content, when in reality we’re facing the exact same Sapphiron we did in 2006. This isn’t how you get what you want.

but yeah i want the ptr version of sapphiron. because that at least resembles the correct functionality intended by the original designer. and its not like they would have to do any extra work. its literally already in the game lol.

well im actually right so go ahead and be the next person to try and disprove me. i already know blizzard is going to launch naxx with the 2 second aura not the 1 second. it doesnt make me wrong though.

It sure did. Boy was I wrong.
I will say though I think Sapphiron is a boss you wipe a lot on when you first encounter him. But once your guild gets him down he’s likely to be a one shot every time.

I think Sapph is probably still the one exception there actually. We still have difficulty with him if we’re not world buffed and we’ve been clearing since week 1.
