I keep running into people in Bgs that almost “expect” to be wiped out by the horde and inmediately lose faith and either leave or just complain that Alliance pvp is dead. They just give up and switch to horde. Its like they give up at the first hard challenge they face.
I’d like to tell you not to give up and persist, there’s always good and bad times for both factions. And this is no just talk, in fact, if u look at Bgs statistics, back in 2014-2016, Alliance dominated Bgs with an average of 60% (more then the horde has now, 55%).
And did u see Horde pvp dying? No, they persisted. So why dont you do the same? They had their hard time and overcame it. This issue is not gonna kill Alliance pvp. Alliance will eventually catch up with the horde, you’ll see.
Just be true to what u want, and if u truly want to play Alliance, dont lose your goal and keep fighting.
Dont let your game experience to be ruined by that.
Stop blaming the racials or your teammates or the game itself, and focus on how to get better yourself, if u really want it.
One tip Anduin and his Worgen general gave us. “Stand and Advance as One!”
I enjoy your message there, but I feel i need to clarify as to why the alliance dominated in 2014-2016. The set period falls within the WOD expac in which alliance racials were superior to horde racials. Not just one race was strong but the dwarf, human, and NE was desirable, resulting in pvpers switching factions.
I agree to stop giving up, stop blaming, and focus on getting better. But racials have shown to influence a factions win rate purely due to the sheep.
I agree with you. But despite that, what I try to say is that Alliance pvp isnt going to die or stay that way forever, and that Horde already had a hard time like that.
The attitude many of them take is costing many games, so they should stop blaming other stuff and focus on overcoming this challenge.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say I think the smaller BGs and IoC are “OK” when it comes to factions. AV, however, does require one faction to put out more strategy & skill than the other mostly thanks to blizz’s poor design/lack of oversight.
All of this feel good talk doesn’t mean very much when you step into BGs. I PvP regularly. I"ve never turned off WM. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t see the obvious. Alliance players are not competators in BGs - The’re victims.
I disagree. Most of them are victims beacuse they want to be victims. They give up before even trying at the first horde head start. I may not have played as much Bgs as you have right now, but all the ones we’ve won its because we’ve learned to team up and not give in to fear of being stomped.
It’s true that horde racials may be better now and they have a lot more people, but that doesnt mean Alliance has no chance of winning. Most of the time when I encounter horde in the world (many times they outlevel me) I end up killing them.
Their strenght comes from numbers, tramwork and determination when entering a Bg, and thats what alliance lacks right now. They are not victims, they are players who’ve given up their hopes of beating the oher faction.
They are still equally applicable in arena and bgs so not sure what you are trying to say. If anything, alliance racials would be stronger in bgs than arena.
