Ranking starts on the 9th but BGs don’t start until the 16th so the rankers are going to camp you in the world, non-stop.
I suggest starting an alt or taking a break if you can’t handle world PVP.
most likely if you are an alliance leveler getting ganked by rankers at 48+ will be the status quo for the rest of the server
Yeah if you are between 48 and 60 just don’t play your character.
You will be permanently on the death screen if you do.

Just wanted to add on this great topic (Frosstfire as always creating interesting and compelling threads 
) that for the next weeks the reality check is going to hit hard, if you chose to roll alliance know that the fantasy world is over,everyone in ally side will be humiliated and owned so hard that there won’t be racial or enough population to save you from the horde zerging, time to reroll or quit.
I’m on the pve server but all the tears from the 9th onwards will be enjoyable to watch. Many a ‘pvp happened on a pvp server’ type conversations incoming.
