Just found out that I have to do this whole campaign to get world quests lmfaoooo! Idc about this story or these new characters at all and it feels so bad that I’m forced waste time with these quests to get to the content and rewards I’m looking for. I’m going to try to power through this boring content I don’t want to do, but I’m getting closer to quitting with each quest I have to do…

don’t worry, you have to do a bunch of side quests to unlock specific world quests too.

Lets be honest, world quests feel different. too much clicking on general quests. versus just going somewhere doing a thing getting a reward moving to the next thing.
You get massive chunks of renown for doing them so I don’t see them as a problem.
you literally have to level anyways. just do the quests and press the escape button everytime there is a cinematic bro.

I mean, we’ve had to complete the campaign quests to unlock wq’s for that character for a couple of expansions, now (since at least Shadowlands).
If u skip campaign when u make an alt after completing through the zone quests, u’ll have access to wq’s right away.
Idk, the quests to be honest feel bad this time mostly because I got to cap faster then I finished all the quests and these quests offer nothing except at the end of the chain. I liked it better personally when each quest offered a small amount of renown or rep. This chunk at the end is gross. Makes all the quests leading to the end feel pointless.

I think you are confused what an MMO actually is.
Youll get 2 years of doing these “super interesting world quests”. You only have to do campaign once and it doesnt take long. And it comes with renown that helps get you the renown gear.
Trust me, the theatre isnt that great
