The elusive fox mount mission quest item thing dropped for me on the sub-120 druid I’m leveling. I was doing the Nightfallen cache for essences for legos to level easier and wasn’t even thinking about the fox mount.
tldr mounts you really want drop when you least expect them
Congratulations! I really want a frog mount but that doesn’t randomly drop RIP.
I feel guilty having it because I never use it or cared about getting it, I just had it drop when grinding rep

Congrats! I was so excited when my foxxy dropped. I luckily didn’t have to do that many withered training before I got it.
I still have many mounts to collect tho.
That’s how it happened with me. Tried for it on my Rogue, Paladin, and DK repeatedly, and then it just dropped randomly for me on this character.

Maybe they increased the drop chance recently. I just got this on my DH too.
I’ve had a few mount drops in the past where I didn’t even notice them until I tried to vendor them. Thankfully I just get an error and quickly realize the surprise.
I dont expect Yayayayayaya would send me 5m gold for mount.
I only have 3 million gold, not 5 million.
I got exalted on 6 toons farming for that invitation for about 7 months. Didn’t buy BfA at launch and was still farming for it 6-8 weeks later on 110s. Gave up on it a few months ago.
On the upside, faction changing while already exalted (not having done any of the quests) seems to increase your ancient mana cap to 2000, and removes the 50-cost required to interact with the NPC to initiate the army training.
I’ve been farming a toy for a while now, hopefully one day it’ll drop.

I did that over 10 times but it’s so boring. I had to be in some kind of mood or very motivated to do it.
From a paragon cache? The last one I had was the Wardens toy. I still go to my Legion board for tokens daily because I don’t find BfA very engaging.
Mounts are overrated.
The absurd part about that mount, I swear the moment you get the quest for it the first time you will find every alt will now get it shortly after.
Imagine doing it on 6 toons, every 3 days, for 7 months… and that’s all. Costing 400+50mana each time when your cap is 800 on 4 of the characters, so you have to farm mana every time.
It’s no wonder I’m loving BfA and hated legion. XD
