Just returned to WoW after a 6-ish year hiatus. Started leveling a Demon Hunter, I’m level 47 now, and I have no idea what to do next. I just completed the Zandalar Forever scenario and I’m not getting any new quests.
What should I do next? I don’t have any of the pre-reqs to unlock any of the allied races except for the Vulpera (rather, I will when I reach level 50). Does anyone have any guidance on what I should be doing or where I should be going?
Most of the War Campaign doesn’t open up until 50.
If you haven’t already, do the foothold War Campaign quests from Nathanos on the Banshee’s Wail in Zuldazar Harbor. (You can tell they are done as each one opens up a travel option to the appropriate Kul Tiran zone.) On your first character, you’ll have to do the Island Expedition tutorial before the 3rd foothold can be unlocked.
Once you hit 50, you’ll need to start by getting your Heart of Azeroth. There’s an Earthen Guardian NPC near the Zuldazar Harbor flightpath that will have the quest “A Dying World” to get it.
Next, you’ll need to unlock world quests. Nathanos will give you the quest “Uniting the Isles.” (If you’ve quested through all 3 zones, you’ll already should have the requirements to turn it back in met.)
After that, Nathanos will start the various segments of the War Campaign.
Oh okay! I didn’t know I’d have to wait until level 50. I did do all 3 of the foothold quests, so I guess now it’s just a waiting game.
