The thing is though, Lore said he would supply the link himself if asked. He was asked. Then he failed to deliver. Someone else shouldn’t have to do what he said he would do. Burden of Proof is a thing.
That doesn’t mean that they will be able to reproduce. It could mean we will see more of them in the Story. Which is what happened with Island Expeditions, the Crucible of Flame quest chain, Wrathion in 8.3 and Ysera in Shadowlands.

Which doesn’t matter since, even if he had failed, nothing is gained except toxicity and humiliation by coming back 8 days later to rub his nose in it.

The only one splitting hairs is you. When you say “I will provide a source” it generally means you actually provide the source. Either the name of the novel and page numbers, or a link to an article or youtube video. Not say, “I think it was an interview with X and Y”.

Incorrect. He FAILED to provide an actual source to YOUR satisfaction. For him to have refused he would have had to actually refuse. You don’t know WHY he failed to provide an actual source to YOUR satisfaction, and that you’re dishonestly assigning him a nefarious motive indicates YOUR satisfaction is likely not a worthy benchmark.

Dropping the pretense that this is at all about Lore for a moment. Grandblade is going to say/do something significantly less catty and reprehensible in the future that will still be mean and reprehensible enough for me to call him out on it.

I’m guessing you haven’t read the complete thread. Because Grandblade asked Lore to post the interview. Not a description of it, which he didn’t do until several posts later. So Lore failed to live up to the standards that was ASKED OF HIM. This is not splitting hairs. The quotes are below.
