You must have missed the part where they tried to deem BE’s as off limits to talk about, which is akin to trying to stop opposing opinions because in the context of requesting things for VEs that brings them closer to looking like BEs, BEs will be used in dissenting opinion arguments.
I just find it funny the group of people who so often for no reason even call out “and we can request what we want” try so hard to think of ways to stop people from doing the same because disagreement is hard I guess.
Is it? Or do BEs just get brought up when you or others are talking about VEs? Thats hardly BEs vs everyone else though I suppose it does benefit your stance to try to lump VEs with everyone else to piggy back on support other races get.

I’m not necessarily opposed to Calia Menethil coming back and picking up the pieces post-Sylvanas. But the execution was awful imo, she doesn’t really know what it is to be Forsaken.
I’m a big fan of Derek tho.

This I will agree with 100% it’s terrible how some of the writing is these days, actually like 90% of it. Lol.

That said I think I’ll like her a lot more if she actually shows a bit of backbone (not literally) (well, literally too) and fights the Alliance over the Forsaken returning to Lordaeron, which was sort of foreshadowed in Shadows Rising.
To me, she’s sort of an Alliance plant. Having all her Alliance friends turn on her would be a big step towards being Forsaken.
Also I’d like it if she turned from the Light or something after seeing how it turned its back on her people.

I’ll expand a bit here.
HMT are more inspired by cultures from the northwest part of North America, while regular tauren are more of a conglomeration of Native Americans from most of (all?) the of the United States and Canada.

Regular tauren have a totem necklace, and I’d like for that idea to be given to HMT but with the HMT style instead of just porting the normal tauren one over.

Thats fine. Honestly I don’t have any problem with her beyond the story they’re trying to force on her.
I think if they were handling it differently she’d be one of my favorite characters.

Yeah, I get they’re going for a bit of a Mummy Calia vibe. But I want Mama Bear Calia who fights for the Forsaken.
Having her turn on the Alliance would have the effect of most of her friends and loved ones turning against her, which is such a huge part of being Forsaken.
She said she wanted to be raised as undead to better understand her people, but she still needs to learn why they’re called Forsaken.
