I treat a ret with wings as i do a dh that flys in the air, use everything I can to gtfo.

Hah fair enough. Destro is busted enough where esp if you have infernal out you can showcase huge amounts of skill and drop in 2 shot cb but we all know destro is bad design propped up on cb and demo armor.

lol if i’m being honest Death strike kinda felt OP before the nerfs but now it really, really does not feel good. If you played DK ud know what i’m talking about. The heals from DS are pretty trash outside of randomly getting hit for a gpy/200k bolt and pressing it.

I use rep a lot in 2s
When you know you can sit dps and never reach healer you play rep with crusade. And its some 0.9sec cast.
Should just be back to 1min instant and baseline though.
I almost never run crusade with rep actually. If I run crusade can’t be bothered to cc when I can just mongo damage

Rets won’t have the same burst that they do now in SL, because Ret is losing Avenger’s Might.

Ret damage is 100% stupid. Literally all you need to do is get trinkets and the game is over in 2s. If you get both trinkets, you rep off target, hoj kill target, healer claws and crucibles while the ret hits you with 150k TVs and the game is over.
Just because other classes in this game are stupid doesn’t mean ret isn’t insane. The playstyle is dumb, but so are most of the classes in this game. Fire mages literally just blink around for two minutes casting polymorph so they don’t die and then when combustion is up they double shimmer poly the healer and win the game insta. They literally do nothing the rest of the time. Ret is really no different.
Rogues are pretty similar as well. They ditz around kiting and chilling until kidney is off DR then they pump.

Hmm, how do you rep a mw hugging a pillar, or a rdruid, or a rsham, or a disc running prem that also hugs a pillar. Think a thing called counterplay comes into the picture, same thing as just spamming cc and peels on the 0 cc prevention ret (no ams, icebound, CoS, etc.).

How is that stupid though? That’s actually how a well played game should look. You get trinkets, you cross CC, you coordinate burst into a cc’d target. You just laid out a very healthy sequence of events that rewards the better team lol.
What would be stupid is if Ret was unkillable due to passive healing and they just won every game at 80% dampening. Or if they were known to randomly proc big tentacles in dr’d stuns and melt you by accident. etc.

I’d say above enh and feral. But feral problem is the spec being forced into bite than bleeds. If their bleeds were good they would be better than ret
