the only thing that needs nerfs is corruption and azerite, other specs need to be brought up to minimum viability level before any actual spec nerfs are brought into play
unholy has been nerfed almost every patch of BFA. Rets have only been buffed. Frost Dk is a very bad designed spec that does no damage outside of a joke pvp talent that can be avoided
no. death knight got an extreme buff in s3.

i mean hes not wrong ret damage with wings is buuuuuuuuuusted but there is so much counterplay to it you could write a book on what to do when a ret presses wings
not to mention its not like ret is ww where even outside of images/touch they can still beat u. oh and while theyre doing that you have to heal thru their ms. oh and they also have the mobility of a dh so good luck running away

Lul ret in BFA got only the following changes:
Execution Sentence nerfed by 25% in pvp
Wake nerfed by 25% in pvp
TV nerfed by 25% in pvp
Avenger’s Might nerfed by 50% in pvp
WoG nerfed by 50% in pvp
Legit no pve change since the start of bfa.

Anybody ever felt threatened queuing into a Ret lately? It’s always a pleasant surprise if they pull off a win.
And it’s more of a “Dang, I should have respected the wings”
Not to say that there aren’t a handful of really good rets out there.

i mean ret is like a nuclear bomb strapped to a wheelchair. only destro can hit harder than ret, and fat sticky earth shox
ive had some stars align moments with cloak + badge + insignia + ripple in space main stat all at once and my highest tv was 230k
ive seen pikachu eu ret get like 245k when he gets all of that + dark its pretty scary but all u have to do is run away. or press fear. or press death coil. or press stun. or press disarm. or press incap. or press sheep. or press root. or press blink. or press ring of peace. or press knockback. or press chains of ice. or press frost nova. or press poison knife from 30 yards away

I’ve had game lost when enemy healer was at 15% while having wings, on use trinket and some other buffs only because i got rooted, stunned or chain ice when i was 1yard away from connecting and killing healer.
the thing about ret that makes me laugh is when people see those videos of insane tv crits and theyre like “this class is so broken” and then they actually play it
its hilarious when graycen streams himself playing ret and he has every button and so much damage up and then they just run away or spam cc him. and he starts tilting so hard. like yea welcome to the club

Playing ret is tilting me so hard my god. Even pikachu is literally raging when he streams.
Ret is literally infuriating to play its disgusting. You keep getting cc or snare or rooted and there’s nothing you can do to avoid it or get out of it.

but then you one shot someone in a hoj with full crusade stacks cuz they trinketed hoj on short wings like a monkey and you laugh for like 5 minutes and you feel so great and it makes it all worth it
until you get spam ccd again and tilt rinse and repeat

I’ve q’d like 20-25 games with Bramot and he straight deletes people. Ret pumps, it’s a force to be feared.

its BC ret is what frost dk should be. Oblit should hit as hard as TV does. Ret slow is super cancerous and undisp freedom is godly. To say ret is a wheelchair spec in 2020 is really just a false statement. Obviously vs wizard comps it sucks being a ret, but every melee could say that queing into MLD/Double fire/Destro.
You know how many times at 2.1+ CR i’ve seen healers die in a hoj because they don’t understand how broken ret wings damage is and nobody ever trys to run from it
I can say the same thing about playing Destro? What is fun about enemy team Losing me the entire game so I can’t even get a bolt cast off
