or the quest to do it.
They MIGHT. But there’s 100% some default speed that always progresses regardless of contributions.
You are right. It is on a timer, and it will flip at the same time it has been the last few months. Arathi is the exact same way. You will be very lucky to not see it flip very early Tuesday morning.
I think it will be more around late afternoon Monday, but i am sometimes wrong lol.
It’s BAFFLING why blizzard can’t just intentionally delay the flip by the day-or-less difference it will be.
No. If the cycle has already started they will give Season 1 rewards.
I’m pretty sure that’s why Ion specifically called out alliance attacking when the change hit.
Because that would demonstrate bias toward one faction over another. Big NO NO
Regardless of if it gives Alliance 400 gear or not, it will prevent Horde from starting Mythic progression with a free piece of 400 gear if we slow down the contribution.
Even slowing it down by 1-2 days will mean the Alliance guilds will get a day or two to get a chance on the first couple bosses in mythic before that free 400 comes into play. And before you scream “That one piece won’t do anything!” - if it’s an Azerite piece with their BiS traits, it sure as hell can.
And yes, I’m Well aware there’s barely any Alliance mythic raiding guilds left, but there’s still a few, and at least giving them a CHANCE to get in the top few slots on the top 10/100 kills on the first few bosses would be nice. Horde had an overwhelming advantage in Uldir due to the no-ilvl requirement warfront and the free 370 piece and it showed in the amount of horde guilds in the top 100 guilds that cleared the first 4 bosses first.
We literally just have to stop the warfront from starting before Tuesday. If it starts Wednesday, that gives the Mythic Raiding guilds an entire day with the Horde not having a free piece of 400 gear.
It would demonstrate and equal and opposite order of events from the last raid tier.
It would be the opposite of bias.
