I am afraid we’re already there. You can buy wow tokens and buy boosts in several discord servers by paying real money to get gold, all things that Blizzard controls.
They made an insane fortune today, sorry to tell you but you can’t go to a Dornogal on any server and not see several people with this mount.

Mounts are $25 USD… maybe $30 for the 20th ad one but ya this is over all a crap show
If you don’t want to buy it, then don’t.
But you don’t get to tell other people what to spend their money on.

I agree that is likely a test towards more aggressive monetization and that might be a good reason to balk and not buy it. However the fact that you can obtain it with ingame money for less gold than the original one in BFA is an up point. I have concerns and reservations of my own but I dont think is an absolute situation. We should take time to try and discuss it but protest and demand refunds just based on fear is very much overreaction
Same. If you want a boost to your battered self esteem and sense of validation thats what achievements and parses are for lol. Far as mounts and mogs , I say bring back on trade post.

I’m not burning $90 on something like that. The game is one thing to spend a bit of cash on so you can play but a mount of any kind is not necessary.
Bought it, and after reading your post, I hope Blizz have finally understand the spending power from their “above average” customers and put all the TCG mounts next time

I guarantee you complain about people in certain industries not making enough money. The sub price has never increased. Be happy.

Without store mounts such as this the sub price would have gone up a long time ago. Item in the Blizz story is probably why it never went up. People dont get that

Ngl I spent my 2 hours of playtime tonight doing my 3 delves for the weekly while swag surfing on the peasants and /cheering fellow Bruto owners.

Can’t wait to see what the next 100$ mount will be. There absolutely will be. What will it be though? 4 person flying mount? Teleport mount to any dungeon? Raid? There’s so many things they could do!
agreed. and exactly. the game is in the toilet. blizzard is grasping at straws now. they are doing everything they can to bring in more money to give the illusion that the game is doing well. the subs are down. people been quitting in droves.
just from this xpac alone and the way they handled season 1 mythic plus. i have around 25 people that been offline for almost a month now both on my bnet friends and from guild. all because they were mythic+ players that just up and quit due to the changes.
blizzard is drowning. this is their last stand so to speak to try and rake in some money. but all they will do is lose more people cause they have no clue how to make a quality game anymore, and this is just another notch in the belt that will piss off many players.
You are so full of it…that mount gives nobody any advantage over anyone in the game now …it has no effect on the raids…the dungeons …or quests…NOTHING it has effect on other then your own mind that you see it that way now…
