As the title suggest, since the alliance always outnumber the horde 20 to 1 in every zone, why even bother with the warcrates when its an automatic thing for them to loot? Might as well save everyone the trouble and give it to them directly just for being alliance…

Not sure what you’re talking about? Warcrates weren’t even a thing until Dragonflight and it was the same thing then too…
Acting like its a good thing that one side is outnumbered because they might have been the one outnumbering the other side is pretty petty.
The sides are unbalanced for a reason, and they know what that reason is… they need to fix it.
Giving one side actual gear and progression benefits to one side simply because its popular isn’t right, and everyone knows it.
I guess the solution is, everyone should just be alliance? Is that the solution?
War crates were a thing since BfA, they just cut them from Shadowlands.
Nah, just wait until Horde gets AOO quest honestly, then Alliance tears come pouring in that we get a quest that rewards Conquest. 
Also the reason is because racials. Nelf racial is bound to get nerfed and then people will come flocking to Horde or other races.

Who gets 500 honor? I get 150 honor from the Warcrate.
They currently give 150 honor and not much else. They give sparks if dropped in the zone with the spark quest active.
Free honor? Sure. On my server (RP shard) Horde do sometimes get them or contest them.
The problem is these crates drop instantly so there’s no time to get there before someone else has opened it.

Cannons don’t have sympathy, nor do they type in internet forums. They’re just a cannon…
When I was starting the bee mount meta achievement, I was originally going to do it on this character here, but 1/10 chests were being won by horde. I had to swap to an alliance toon to get the chests (towards the 1k honor in the zone achieve).
Feels bad when on horde it seems like 20 alliance show up every time and most of the time on alliance it’s like “where are the horde? Four guys showed up and got stomped.”
I’ve gotten several Vicious Blood stones which is extremely nice. Also some nice rarer recipes. Make that gold and save on socket honor cost. The honor isn’t why we are looting them.

150 honor? You guys arent getting the 60 conquest each time you loot it? I see Alliance claims it on Moonguard every drop (obviously) but we kind of just let the horde players come in and grab their shares as well. I dont see much pvp around the drop chests
whine whine whine. What a wow pvp community we have. I get crates 30-40% of the time. good enough for me. Horde get bonus honor in bgs, remember?
