It’s no secret that Shadowlands was nothing but a hype train, the launch was fun the first week was fun, but lets call it how it is, Shadowlands is a extension on BFA.
WoW Devs, no one will be harsh if you admit you made mistakes, instead of hiding it and thinking by yourselves on how you can make the game better for your players, why not come to us and let us help for once. We know what we want, we literally pay for your game why isn’t our voice heard?
All we want is fun, why does it appear that you guys just don’t want a game available for people to play that includes fun, it sounds insane to think that we are paying to work in WoW… acknowledge your mistakes and fix it.
i was pretty happy so far but then i met the raid boss that asks you to “dance” and it was the most stupid fight ive ever experienced in any videogame.
It’s interesting how they threw Vol’gin under the bus in Legion because they needed To throw Sylvanas under the bus I’m BFA/SL for any of this to make sense.
Which horde leader are they going to throw under the bus Next to further the story?
Technically Thrall got threw under the bus to it just didn’t kill him it rendered him without his powers.
Ion doesn’t make mistakes. His World of Warcraft is perfect. Everyone is just jealous and no one can say it’s bad because YOU DON’T WORK IN THE GAME INDUSTRY!
Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I’ve been playing at a comfortable pace working on two characters so far through Shadowlands and I am loving every minute of it. the Covenants, Torghast, the dungeons, the raid, the storywriting and lore. I’m finding it all pretty enjoyable. They’re pumping out hotfixes at a pretty decent rate and i’ve found are listening to quite a lot of player feedback and complaints.
Forgive me if I’m wrong, but I feel the people that have these issues are the ones that absolutely blaze through the content, leaving them not a whole lot left to do.
I get that, but there’s literally not much for the more hardcore players, for example, everything is time gated. I can finish everything they open up on reset in the first day, and I am left with just doing WQ’s and the raids which I dont enjoy doing, PVP on the other hands is unbalanced and they pay no attention to it at all.
At this point, i believe any expansion is an extension of an expansion.
“Oh, TBC is Vanilla 2.0.”
“Oh, Wrath is TBC 2.0.”
“Oh, Cata is Wrath 2.0.”
“Oh, MoP is 2.0.”
“Oh, Wod is… MoP 0.5.”
“Oh, Legion is WoD 2.0.”
“Oh, BFA is Legion 2.0.”
“Oh, Shadowlands is BFA 2.0.”
Because they want help in the form of coding and other complicated stuff that isn’t just detailed suggestions?
You don’t speak for everybody first off, i don’t know who is this “we”.
But second, why people on this forums always says this, but rarely elaborate on?? What does fun mean in this instance?
If i were a game dev an FPS for example and you come up to me and tell me “this game isn’t fun, make it fun”, what is that suppose to tell me? Do you want me to tweak the gun ammo or damage? The enemy AI where it’s more reactive? The world environment? The story?.. what?
Let’s take me for example, the visions is a small arena like collect/kill-a-thon similar to an island expedition, except the collectiables in there are optional secret rewards, and with pretty hard enemies and zones as you go though. What makes it unfun for me is the timer. Making the timer more relaxed or ridding it entirely will make it fun for me. Another element of what makes it unfun is how repetitive and unvaried the quests for those are. It would be a bit more fun if the quests while ranking up offered up something different, like going in there and absorb the corruption into a little item from enemies, kill specific enemies, look for treasures, etc, something to break the monotony of getting pages over and over again.
