the only thing that makes it a wall is that people fail.
Nothing else really.

this shouldn’t be the answer.
and it’s why the current push for account progression over character progression is bad.
For the capitalist short-term profit bean counters, having customers focus on a warband of characters rather than one character forces more engagement and playtime if they want to continue playing WoW. This looks great on corporate metrics!
It’s terrible because it means that whatever character you’re playing is individually worthless on average and always susceptible to Blizzard exiling your character to a lower tier.
I wish Blizzard would respect players who just want to play a single character and focus on character progression rather than account progression.
Lmao no. Just laughably no. The large difference in difficulty between the two is the wall just like in raid.
I was just speaking from a more general sense.
if more and more becomes account wide in progression and gearing…
it will remove incentive to balance things
and it will put a greater emphasis on playing meta.
because if the culture becomes just for everyone to change to the meta due to a higher focus on everything account wide…a person that focuses on one character will be left behind.
The thing is with brew it’s a big gamble to invite. It’s either they are really bad or really good, there is no in between, at least from my exp.
So, remove that affix, and see you when you try 13.
One redundant key level doesn’t do much.
You’re well under the top 1% at your rating as a non-meta healer which is pretty awesome. Change to disc and you’ll be flooded in invites.
How does this compare to past seasons in terms of % pugging as a non-meta? Title?
With how insanely fast fotm rerolling is it’s no surprise the meta changes so fast.
In like 2 weeks the entire top of the ladder swapped from prot Warrior to prot Paladin it’s kind of nuts.
And thats not counting the Mythic items out of GV a fresh toon simply misses out this late in the season.
This is why a system like fated seasons where we can get timegated half a spark of whatever you want to name it works in situations like this one, we can quickly get the sparks up to the current released ones and “just” have to grind the crests and valorstones.
This is where the current discounts on alts truly shine.
OR items that we can level up lets say from 1/8 champion up to 6/6 Mythic, with their corresponding crest and valorstone increase the higher it gets.
Seriously, game developers really think people will engage in alts when its clearly they are not going to catch up to a main, so it just feels like a waste of time.
I see, you don’t understand.
A 20% jump is double the learning curve. So the keys you do below it do little to help for your next run.
I get it though, you would defend it even if it jumped 4000%.
No, because jumps aren’t uncommon in m+.
Xal affix. fort/tyr, peril, fort/tyr, guile / no xal buffs.
It’s moar dps. You might not meet the dps check, but learning curve is the same.
Things might go past a threshold needing a defensive, and that’s about it.
And 4000% would be impossible.
trolling hard
2k skill capped means you’re not really even playing the game brosam.
You’re just here to troll.
I cushioned myself from this M+ season by not running many keys a day, probably around 5 and then also not trying to push at all. I’m basically just hovering around 6s. I don’t go up a key level until I upgrade all my gear, which takes forever now.
This wasn’t my main at the start of the expansion, I also geared out a DK a little bit then leveled a Brewmaster and got it a bit of gear, so I did dungeons and Delves on 4 characters. I would rather have my Warband primed up for Season 2 than pug 9s, 10s, 11s, etc.
The game really is like Diablo now.
I’ve been strictly Holy since BFA, I quit playing Disc/Shadow in Legion. I’ve done all 3 specs at some point at a CE and High Warlord level of play, but I’ve always preferred Holy. Holy was considered non-meta for all of DF I believe, I was part of the Break the Meta each season. It’s never stopped me from being in the top 1% or lower, but I’ve never done enough keys to hit title.
I am ok with alts being alts and WoW not having a culture of expecting you to reroll.
I am ok with their being a benefit of playing a main.
Aren’t BRM’s one of the strongest tanks in raid? If not ignore me, but I could’ve sworn they’re regarded as one of the best, and were used extensively in world first races.
The reason I bring this up, is just because your class isn’t balanced in all content, doesn’t mean it isn’t balanced or even excelling in others.
And this (and the 3k player posting it) is a prime example of overcoming adversity.
It’s just a fact that every spec in the game can do the content that 98% of the community participates in.
Nah never like this. Saying otherwise is propaganda at best. The key before was actually close enough still to be somewhat translatable for the one you failed. 11’s don’t translate to 12’s at all.
That’s like saying jumps from smolderon to tindral is normal. Anyone defending that design is actually unreal to me.
Them banning people for leaving instead of fixing the core problem (which won’t get fixed) shows how lost this company truly is.
Tanks and healers actually gotta play now compared to DF instead they rather ban people for horrible gameplay LMAO. Hilarious.
M+ about to be even more dry than getting declined on 12s you gunna see it on 8s!
