Yep, as a Holy Priest, I’ve spent more time in LFG than playing the game. I have the rank in my guild of “Casual World Quester”, because I’ve done so many world quests and random solo achievements due to sitting in LFG getting auto declined, that it’s actually my main game mode. I barely get to run keys at all.
So far timed every key on +13, except GB which is a +12. Can’t seem to get invited to many +14s or 13 GBs. Might have hit my limit on PUG. I pretty much have to find a team or quit at this point, all groups solely want Disc or Resto Sham.

I looked. You really are a glutton for punishment. Wow.

Is it when those options lack empathy. My suggestion is to simply empathize with the player, band together, and hopefully complain enough to prompt changes.
Imagine losing an animal you loved and being told, “Just get another one!” You can see how this would be sociopathic to say, even though the person is merely pointing out an option.
That’s a little unhinged. Do you get mad at everyone who doesn’t walk on eggshells around you?
It seems to me like you just want someone to point all that impotent anger at. Blizzard doesn’t care. I’d be willing to bet that pushing the lid down and spreading people out through keys was a design goal of theirs.
A stupid, shortsighted goal. But there’s no way it wasn’t intentional. BRD proves that they CAN do what we want them to. They just don’t.
anger is a healthy response. it shows where player’s boundries are getting crossed. this may lead me to quitting and others. being told to reroll inciting negative emotion mean’s a boundary is getting crossed. it doesn’t mean his/her opinon isn’t valid and shouldn’t be shared, but we should be strong to suggest things with understanding we may hurt others… we need resilience along with sensetivity, anger with compassion and restraint. it’s everything that helps us solve problems and navigate this insane world.
But disc is fun! I had a disc priest that sat since TBC and leveled him up. Its really fun in M+ when you can burst heal the entire group and act like a DPS.
I’m sure people like it, but as you just said, they heal the entire group from doing damage. In the current M+ scene, the whole group takes massive damage at once and Disc is the best at countering that. It’s designed to be OP in keys.
IMO the ONLY way to make Disc a normal heal spec is to nerf atonement back to only healing 1 player at a time. This would force Disc Priest to do maintenance heals with damage, but actually need to press healing buttons to do real healing. It’s pretty ridiculous in a small group setting to have more healing throughput than any other healer while also doing the most damage.
Also, the thing is that people think monk is super squishy and dies to everything.
Had someone tell me they were worried about ME during the tankbusters in 12+ City of Threads. Its like their brains are shut off, and don’t understand that the reason why Brewmaster is not taken in M+ is because they don’t do well in large pulls, but they absolutely crush bosses and tankbusters. Subjugate hits me for about 5m unmitigated, which I can immediately purifying brew + expel harm + self vivify to be full health immediately.
Theres a reason why Brewmaster is S tier in raids. Its because raids are all bosses.
This joke of a meta has infected everyone into thinking monk is some unviable tank when its not.
Yea bosses aren’t really the issue in higher keys. Being able to chain double and triple pulls consistently to make the timer is the issue. Like in SV, you usually pull the entire hall + pack to the left in the boss room all at once, and can chain in the 2x golems in mid. Then while RP is going you clean up the right side and go straight into boss. Now sure how monk would deal with that pull, but it saves tons of time. Giving your team more chances to cleave and save time is BIS.
If monk struggles at that, they should be given a better way to deal with larger pulls.
dude no one likes playing brewmaster in keys. get over it ur so annoying. better yet just uninstall and let us all be happy your so selfish
I remember a day when BM was actually king of dungeons and could essentially solo runs with unmatched AOE damage and survivability.
I can tell your someone whose in their own world constantly… who sees things that arent there…
well thats cool i guess…?
I was quite dismayed to see not a single adjustment.
Sadness for the brews!
I guess I’ll just drink away my sorrows!
That first pull in SV you get so many people dying because of how much damage is going out. Its not that brew can’t really do the pull, its just that they take a little more damage which means the healer has to spend a global on them instead of the DPS who all have arcing void on them because nobody interrupts that.
And the packs die slower, because brewmaster doesn’t have any “burst” to it, and our dps is capped to 5 targets. Meanwhile a Paladin or even a DH can pump out 5+m dps on a pull like that. Brewmaster is lucky to do 1.5-2m
Yea true, in my 13 SV today that entire pull died almost instantly. I was the lowest DMG as holy Priest sitting around 1.4 mil DPS. Everyone else did like 5-6 mil
Jump from 11-12 needs addressed. They could really just have the affixes removed and that be enough instead of adding a key in between.
Also enemy damage needs to scale at 8% instead of 10%.
Just list your own 12, you will get lots of people signing up. This is not sarcasm, you would have zero difficulty making a group for a +12.
So you go up a key level or two and complain again?
It’s just bad, like raid walls. Smooth progression is king over walls and it’s not close.
