After using controller with a few tweaks, it feels a lot better to play with instead of mouse and keyboard. I have 28 action bar button binds which is enough for all classes, except some which may need multi ability macros, like enhancement.
It feels good not having to contort my hand to reach all my keybinds.
I hope they make a wow 2 with gamepad support in mind from the start so I don’t have to use the mouse for things like talents and item management, etc.

Healing would suck with a gamepad… they need to work on it or just make a wow 2 with full gamepad support from the beginning.
have you tried healing on a custom duck costume controller module? i’m sure it must be quite fun

Those are both two different things to me, and gamepads are already supported (as they function just like keyboards)
I’m glad a controller works for you, but if ergonomic ease was a concern then using a traditional gamepad like an Orbweaver instead of a keyboard would possibly have been an option, and require much less modification than setting up a controller to work.
I’ve personally been using gamepads for my left hand since maybe at least 2010? Possibly earlier?
The only downside is I’m now completely incapable of using a standard keyboard for gaming purposes lol.
I did try it on my steam deck trust me this is pure hell in healing but at least DPS is okay but will not does any rated or raid with that
