I am officially done with Korrak’s. I WILL NOT que again until it is fixed. Out of 15 ques today ive gotten into 1 fresh game. The other 14 I entered all the quest npcs were dead, which means no Badges and no point to play seeing as you get nothing towards the mount for winning or losing. Give us something to stick around for BLizzard. This would give people a reason to stay in the BG and not quit.

Well my team just won a classic AV (thought it was supposed to last days?) and hundreds of those armor things in my bags disappeared.
I guess winning actually HURTS the mount progression
Seems very poorly designed. Pvping does nothing for the mount. I did all quests besides korrak and capture a tower and im still on 25%. I will NOT grind the rest with armors and resources from mines, this is stupid as hell

That would be the case if there wasn’t an achievement and rewards associated with the event that is limited time only. But it’s easy to sit on the top and look down when you’re playing on the side that is favored. No matter how hard the Alliance tries, they will never get to Korrak first. You can shove your smugness where the sun don’t shine.

I was able to get to Korrak first (and get the tag for the kill) on Alliance. The Horde were super-slow.
Actually winning the BG, however, is an entirely different story. …I don’t think that it’s logically even a possibility for Alliance right now. At all.

Classic AV is a seperate AV. People queue regular BGs for fun. People queue Classic AV to get the reward associated with it. The truth is you’re a sad troll. Stay in your lane.

Why is everyone in a rush to get the mount done? The event lasts like 2 months.

It’s hard-ish to get, yeah. Lots of mounts and other things worth getting require time and effort too.
I got 32% progress from my first game so I suppose I only need two more. Not bad considering the event will be active through January 7th.
As for not getting fresh games… there’s no time limit. You’re going to get deserters and where there’s desertion, there’s backfilling. Care to offer a solution?

Also, can’t you queue this as a full raid? Just do that if you really want to win.
You can’t re-do most quests.
I’ve done them all at this point, sitting at 44%.
Eventually all you will be left to do is getting crates on mines or collecting scraps/metal (forgot what the item name was) and returning to the blacksmith guy, for 2/1 TW respectively. There’s also the wolf charm quest but it’s very bugged.
So yeah trying to win or actually pvping doesnt contribute to the mount, the best you can do is killing NPCs or going into the mines. Seems pretty wrong to me but thats just my opinion

Winning awards 10 badges so there is a point to winning. Best method I’ve found so far (54%) is to just farm armor scraps in the inevitable turtles. You can farm 400 scraps like nothing giving you 20 badges

This being the first day of the event, do we know for sure than the 10 badge quests aren’t repeatable once per day?

I was in a match that took over an hr and had to go pee. Wasn’t gone for more then 2 mins and got kicked out and had desertion. Come on really. Better go to store and buy me some adult dypers.

I had high hopes for this but it’s pretty garbage. So much incentive for dead weight to just queue up to PvE farm for the mount. Probably won’t queue outside of an organized raid again.
