Don’t decrease level cap

Increase it. New level cap is 200. Release a lot of brand new content to keep us busy, talent point each level

From 120 to 200? Don’t feel like leveling 80 more levels for a new expansion.

Holy crap, how would it all fit in with every ability too?

The more talent points one has, the less value those points can have. With 190 points to work with, talents would have almost no value.

We would need a talent tree that resembles Path of Exiles skill tree

Here’s what a level squish accomplishes: Absolutely nothing.

Here’s what adjusting XP values solves: Almost everything with leveling.

Add a new talent system and make leveling closer to how it was in MoP and everyone will be happy. So of course, they won’t do that.

That’s because Blizzard is against fun. Having a class design similar to MoP where it was fun, Blizzard will be all over us, “Sorry, we detected a whole lot of fun. You can’t have fun.”

Why cater to your playerbase when you can appeal to people who don’t play your game? Gotta keep removing features to extend that /played metric.

Remember all the stat woes in Legion and BFA? If only there was a feature that allowed you to convert some of those secondary stats into different stats.

If only.

I still need a recap on why some of the secondary stats were removed. Spell pen, hit, spirit etc.

Paragon leveling/champion points leveling like ESO and Diablo 3? Eh, kinda subjective. ESO works because they cap gear at 160 CP and any levels after that is bonus stats. Diablo 3 works because…it just does. WoW devs would try to balance gear around maximum paragon so no…

So instead of having one new skill every 30 levels we get one new skill every 50 levels…? Strong pass, bro.

I don’t miss hit rating. It was annoying having to equip lower ilvl items to keep your hitcap up.

Far as OP goes I agree we don’t need a level squish. We just need less XP per level as the cap is raised. Its bad enough we have had to lose our power not once but twice now with stat squishes.

I kind of enjoyed hit/spell pen because it added more to gearing imo where you had to min/max but also make sure you had enough of these other stats as well.

I think the stat system today is too simple
