Why is it dumb that I want to spend my time on a class that may not get nerfed? Rather than waste it on an OP class thats going to get nerfed? Unlike many that play this game I have an actual life and need to use my time wisely 
We all know rogue shammy and priest are next on the nerf list.

Simple, the answer is locks. Mages are literally dog in PVP right now (I am assuming you mean world pvp, STV etc.). If you don’t go full frost with ice barrier, you will get 2 tapped for inhaling oxygen. If you go frost, you have to hard cast FBs … have fun doing that when every other caster is insta nuking you for half your hp pool.
Locks can actually hold their ground and tank v X. However, their damage is equally dog.
Just play a SP and have a ton of fun. Don’t even look back.
This is just imo though as a rank 14 classic, multi retail glad, scarab lord, TBC glad mage.
It really depends on your skill level IMO. A very good player playing a Frost Mage is extremely powerful in PvP. A Meta Lock can put Drain Life up and run around in circles and still be pretty effective at times.
I don’t see either class getting nerfed though, if that’s what you’re asking. Play what you like.
So basically you rather play the flavor of the month class until something inevitably happens to them and then reroll

This is good advice. Even if Shadow Priest gets nerfed they’ll still be extremely strong, and you can always fall back on healing as well. Super easy to find groups as a Priest.

Every phase will go like this… “x class is great” blizzard nerfs it…
Warriors are on top.
mage literally gets one shotted by anyone in the game. Warlocks require time to cast fears and spells. Just kick or cc them…? I dont understand the problem.
I think elemental shaman, shadow priest, melee hunter and rogue are next on the chopping block.
Druid is ruined, so you are safe with druid now. You are probably safe with lock, mage and warrior too.
