Don’t be fooled

The new customization options and Druid forms are 100% due to the lawsuit and failing numbers. I mean I predicted they where gonna add more nightborne customization next expac as small breadcrumbs but they decided to do it early.

We are getting more soul shapes forms and druids are getting some love but no shaman wolf love? So we getting more shapes for something that’ll die this expac and shamans get nothing?

This isn’t setting a precedent for a common thing and once people forget about the lawsuit blizz will continue to under deliver.

Shout out to nightbornes and Druids tho, your getting some love  and that’s never a bad thing!

It is a rather sharp change from this:

still no worgen tails, though.

This is pretty standard content Blizzard has been doing past couple expansions. They add smaller things in minor .x.5 patches.

I too was annoyed that they’re putting in new soulshapes that will no longer be usable passed 10.0 and druid travel forms, but do Shaman get anything???

Ya this gives echos of the “no more flying” reversal we seen in wod that happened. Basically 180s of concrete positions only brought forth when things are going to hell (for very different reasons this time obviously)

Maybe they’ll make a toy that lets you use soulshapes in rested areas next expansion :woman_shrugging:

Seems kinda small considering the amount of time that has already passed for the SLs expansion.

Maybe if they did something crazy like letting all races become any class they might have something, this is just chum change addons.

I’ll believe it when I see it with actual squinty Nightborne eyes.

Pallies need permanent awesome wings and even better when you pop wings. The rest of you peons need nothing.

I just resubbed for 6 months and bought the BC 70$ pack cuz of the new druid forms. BLIZZARD IS BAE!

Blizzard needed something to kick it’s butt to make it do something. If them failing horrifically is what caused them to get priorities set to what players want, then I’m all for it.

Of course, it’s elves again - but Nightborne definitely need it more than most.

Good. Worgen tails would be ridiculous. Why would a worgen just grow a tail when it transforms…

And this is what made me cancel my subscription to the game.

Ironic that Blizzard is turning to this theme ( customization ) as a way to appease negativity and dissatisfaction as a way to bring the sadolands back to life.

Why do worgen lose a finger when they transform?

Moral of the story is, the relationship between number of players in wow and the Devs actually listening to what the players want is an inverse one. So ideally what we want is for even more players to leave so we can finally get player housing.

It’s probably also related to changes in Blizzard leadership as well. It wouldn’t surprise me if J. Allen Brack has had a hand in awful WoW development decisions himself, such as pushing for time-wasting mechanics for time-played metrics and the WoW team’s inability to focus on continued improvement on customization options.

Never underestimate the influences executives can have over game development.

So in response to declining sales, Blizzard decided to add more cosmetic options for two of the least-played allied races in the game.

For business reasons.

Uh huh.
