Because now I have to pick and choose. Some of us have limited time to play. I am still trying to finish out leveling alts with timewalking before the XP buffs are gone, and now you want to start Plunderstorm on Tuesday? Why 2 things at once?
Well, it is not.
Choose what you want to do.
Blizz doesn’t release anything “omfg this is it, game is dead waste of money unsub now” blizz releases something “wow really this company obviously doesn’t respect my time as a player, game is dead unsub now” ffs people
Why not just allow yourself more time and do one thing one day, one thing another they’re around for ages.
So do plundersuck for the FOMO junk you likely won’t mog/use anyway and level alts as you can.
I guarantee leveling alts is only going to be easier and easier. Plundersuck is not only temporary but the later you wait, the less fellow PvE fodder is going to be doing it and thus the more sweatlord tryhards who derive their sense of self worth and satisfaction (not to mention flex their micro epeens) will be in there with you minimizing your plunder gains per match.
Then why are you concerned about a timewalking event we get every other week? Just have one of your 20 kids to level up your alts while you’re on your 50th job of the week like the rest of the wow players.
Plunderstorm is a huge mistake.
You don’t need everything
You can level alts at literally any time lol.
What a stupid thread.
I am doing neither because they created profession that take so much time getting KPs
I can promise you that leveling is still insanely fast without the timewalking buff.
If you are worried about it. Log into all the toons you want to level so they generate rested. Park them and do some plunderstorm for a bit.
Then just burn rested and repeat.
Doesn’t PStorm use existing characters now? Allow xp gain while in that mode, problem more than solved.
Wait. Has Plunderstorm started yet?
Next week plunderstorm should start back up
I’m mostly disappointed the rewards are all just recolors with nothing really new. That said I’ll probably do what I can to get that pirate set, and a few weapons and we’ll see how I feel after that. I don’t love PS and getting killed within a minute of landing grinds my gears, but I’ll force myself into it for at least the set. If I do ok, maybe try for a recolored mount or two…
Have lots of alts to level in TW that I don’t want to level doing TWW now, so I’ll balance my time…maybe.
I feel like most things in this game are a huge mistake and that people are forced to choose what they wanna do. But hey, that’s the way it’s been forever. I guess you just have to manage your time a little better to do it all.
All you need to do for turbulent timeways is 5x dungeons week 1 and the one dungeon each subsequent week in order to get the mount. Plunderstorm is going to be a grind that isn’t done overnight and more of a time commitment. You should choose accordingly how to spend your time. Is it bad that they are both limited events occuring at the same time? Yes. But there’s nothing you can do about it. Choose what’s more important and play accordingly.
You will grind and you will like it. That is the new motto of the new Blizzard. Notice how many limited time events we got back to back last year with little breathing room for those of us with lives? Plunderstorm > MoP Remix > Pre-launch with exclusive collectable looks that must be farmed > 20 Anniversary.
It’s one thing to always have something going on like the old holiday events which is guaranteed to come back with the same rewards and gives players choice and variety in how they play, it’s another to have all these single-run events with possibly never-returning but maybe they will but we don’t know type exclusive rewards and experiences one after the other.
Obviously a ploy to keep people subbed and playing but I don’t come to WoW for stress. I’m a casual and a collector and it’s not good.
For a variety of content.
The turbulent timeways thing is mostly for leveling alts. Keeping the buff up is as easy as just doing 4 timewalking dungeons, and then doing 1 of each timewalking dungeon a week.
I understand where you are coming from. Blizzard should limit it to one event at a time.
My only thought is that they are doing this because of the upcoming patch. It’s supposed to be a big one.
