Wrong. Plenty of people used Flight Whistles even after they got flying because it was a instant TP.
Again wrong. Instant teleportation often saved people the inconvenience of flying somewhere. Sometimes it helped them get there faster.
Horribly wrong. No Mythic loot was provided in World Quests. You have zero knowledge of what’s going on. World quests at max provided Normal or lesser raid quality gear.
This I agree on.
Don’t agree as character customization is one of the core aspects of RPG.
They get money for selling the expac and also access to the servers. It’s that easy. Just spend that money and fix the game.
It isn’t about spite, it is about structuring the game in a way that makes you spend as much time as possible (without being too blatant) to accomplish tasks.
They want to be able to say that their subscribers are spending a certain amount of time logged in and playing. That’s all. It has nothing to do with spite.
This comment is not intended to endorse this design. It is a terrible practice and makes for a terrible experience in game.
I enjoyed the flightwhistle, but I don’t really miss it in SL. I believe it still works in content that was designed to have it, does it not?
I’m not sure what this mean? Were flightpaths removed? I must have missed that.
They’ve stated their intent on this is for you to be able to solo things you could solo prior to the squish. So its more a bug and not so much spiteful. However, annoyance with Blizz not resolving bugs quickly enough is definitely a sentiment I can get behind.
There are fewer total WQs and there is not a player power resource like azerite tied to them. Its a net gain for a lot of people.
There was hardly a consensus on the amount and quality of gear that should be dropping.
They added a ton of this stuff. As for not adding more its a murky issue, I don’t think I would at all call it spiteful. But I understand that some people feel let down.
doesn’t matter if it’s a megacorperation or indie company.
you would have to rework layers of code to make the fight viable and how mechanics work. Though I would wonder how you would make Mythic Kil’Jaden or N’Zoth viable as they use either very mechanic heavy or require an item to access or fight as part of the mechanic (Heart/Cloak).
Interesting how you dodge the “they’re professionals” and try to subvert your argument into “Lol you don’t have a solution so your argument is stupid”.
They’re making the money and it isn’t my problem to teach them how to fix their own problems. I’m not the one working at Blizzard. I pay for their end product not to be a beta tester or a design architect
“So you want to switch targets. I see there’s a lord of locks rushing towards you, but how about that ashen phylactery? No? Okay, how about that ashen phylactery next to it? No? Okay how about the ashen phylactery next to that? No? Okay, how about that Mawsworn Guardian you haven’t aggroed yet? No . . . you clicked the Lord of Locks? This is why I hate you, cheater” - the tab targeting system.
So how come this never happens when I see good work Blizzard in the titles? Only like it when it’s compliments. Plug your ears and sing if it’s criticism.
I would be claiming shenanigans too if the opinion I insisted on standing behind was outnumbered 325 to 9. Granted, there’s a margin of error in that poll, but it’s pretty hard to claim that a “mere” 99% difference is insignificant.
Blizzard seems more vested in the idea of creating content that’s designed to keep players logged in longer, instead of creating content that players would enjoying doing and spend more time playing it.
Sometimes, idiots ask for things they think would be really cool, and then Blizzard does them, and then those same idiots start forum posts about “Wow this is dumb, Blizzard hates us.”
And, the weird thing is, those idiots think they’re all one person.
Nah. Players asked for loot to be more concentrate like in Classic, and at first everyone was in on the idea. Then it’s implemented and people scream, “I hate it I hate it!” and expect a change immediately.
I dont think I’ve cared or had many people cry about flgiht whistles or paths. Get your transport network up and running in your covenant hall. Otherwise, it’s not really that bad even without it.
Soloing old content. Well, specifically you’re crying about Legion. Not a huge portion of the player bases farms transmogs anyhow, but so what? You have to group with a few others - OMG! It’s a MMO, kid. And in WHAT world are world quests hard???
Sometimes I think adults act like children without knowing it, and they want the whole cake right away and if they don’t get it then nothing is worth living for… :eye roll:
I think I’ve used the Venthyr mirror network…a few times? The flight paths go more directly to the world quest hubs. The mirrors put you out in the middle of nowhere for the most part, and the mirrors definitely don’t help me when the Emissary (oh, sorry, CALLING, that’s way different than exactly what it was in BFA - doing a group of quests in one zone unless it was for the Tortollans or Magni) is in Ardenweald or Bastion.
And I think I’ll have enough Anima to get to level three at some point before the next expansion drops. Maybe. Possibly not, though.
Because they combine it with another feature that has the opposite effect of what was asked for. For example, we now have twice the bag space of TBC, but every mob drops four times as many varieties of trash as they did back then. Thanks, Blizzard!!!

Umm…no, not everyone was asking for it. Maybe a few streamers but I never heard a single person complain about loot. And yes, it would be nice to have a quick change where we actually get loot. I know, that’s asking a lot, right?

So, you don’t want it, so no else should? I’m glad it’s all about you. Great attitude.

I’m glad you don’t think the ones who do the activity matter. I’m pretty sure if they broke another facet of the game, it would be fixed quickly. And world quests aren’t hard - they’re annoying and long - something they weren’t in the past.
Sometimes I think adults act like children without knowing it, and they want the whole cake right away and if they don’t get it then nothing is worth living for… :eye roll:
The irony here is strong, since you’re acting more childish than 99% of the posters on here. To be honest, you sound like an spoiled child, with no empathy for others.
Same, but i have used the mushrooms and the ruby network more often.
They are trying new things, no need to throw them rocks. They have usage statistics on all of those things, they will know if they succeeded or failed.
