Doing 1.3M hps and dying in a +7 is not fun

The pulsing AOE damage comin’ out of those abominations is crazy. Missing a hook is pretty much GG if you don’t have an insane healer and enough DPS to kill the add if you miss b4 the second one comes out.

Was in a +4 with a healer doing 1.2m HPS and he still couldn’t heal through it.

But we were failing all over the place on mechanics. People missing hooks, the tank tanking in the green stuff, or moving the boss around right before the hook goes out causing the boss to move and the hook to miss etc. The tank was in that Demonsurge DPS spec and was squishy AF / was making terrible decisions for the entire dungeon tbh. He was doing like 800k-1mil DPS on big pulls till he’d flat out die.

If the healer stopped healing him at all the dude just died immediately. 2 of his deaths he did his lil DH Jump into a pack and instantly died. Dude wasn’t using spikes or immo aura much – but I feel like tanks by default shouldn’t even be able to be that squishy. Dude was made of paper. On my screen it looked like he pulled his pants down and dove head fist into the ground like an ostrich so the mobs could take him to pound town.

It would have been hilarious if not for the timer killing our reward.

We did another PUG +4 NW last night with a much better DH tank and we absolutely smoked the whole dungeon.

People gotta use their defensives, do mechanics and pay attention. Nothin’ new there for M+ tbh.

I do feel your pain though. Some of the dungeon mechanics prolly still need some time in the oven.
