I want to get the Compass toy so I can become a big ol’ cow instead of a tiny mechagnome. However, all the comments and screenshots on wowhead abt it are over 5 years old. Does he still spawn in normal( non-nzoth) vale, and whats the timer?

Yes he still spawns
Go to warmode as people rarely turn on PvP
90% of my rare kills and hunter pets come from warmode

Order comments by newest first. There’s a comment from October stating from 35 mins to 1hr 15 for the spawn time

Yeah WM is the way to go for hunting rares. That’s how I was able to do most of the Frostbitten Achievement.

Yes, you have to make sure you’re in old non n’zoth vale (this isnt’ just making sure an invasion isn’t up you need to use the time dragon on the map)
