I’m trying to get into the spirit of the future patches, so I went ahead and did SoO and got Xal’atoh.
I have been unable to find any information saying for sure, but does the weapon whisper to you while it’s a transmog? I’m not sure if it’s based on the skin or based on the weapon itself, and I have found no solid information leading one way or the other.
Any confirmation would be great! I’d like to have a spooky weapon whisper spooky things to me.

Everything I’ve read goes either way. Some people say they’ve gotten whispers with it and some haven’t. So you might as well just try it out yourself and see what happens lol.

And yeah, I’ll keep an ear out. That’s the same thing I found. It’s even harder because the whispers do not show up in your chat logs. Can’t even have anything else playing.

Yes, it did for me. Once when I died and the other time when I was cleaving through enemies. It’s not as frequent as the Shadow priest artifact. I have it mogged in at present on my Warrior toon.
