You sure about that? Pretty sure they only effect the weapon they’re applied to because putting it on my offhand does nothing for my main hand.

They do, but they’re a temporary buff that’s just +crit. Normal stones don’t do anything for us.
Sharpening stones generally only help the weapon they’re attached to, but elemental sharpening stones are just a straight critical strike buff to your stats. You typically don’t need two though because of glancing nonsense and caps.

I’m pretty sure you’re wrong, but I’ll test your theory tomorrow. 
Oh I get that, but it applies in forms so I’m 90% it is just a fancy temp critical strike buff.
It would in fact be awesome if it really does just increase total crit, but I’ve learned not to always trust that crit chance %. I’ll definitely run some tests tomorrow and report back here on what I find though!

It works for druids. It adds to your critical strike rating. There is no such thing as weapon specific crit.
