Been farming the illusion for a few years. Still no drop. Does it still drop?
WowHead reports a 7% drop rate from the end chest (Alleria/Thrall) of Horrific Visions, so your odds in any one run are slim.
It’s farmable, as long as you have enough currency to keep buying tries.

My brother unlocked it a few months ago on his void elf priest. It does still exist.
