does versatility effect bm hunter pet dmg?
Good question. I think not. Only if your pet damage is tied to an hubter ability like kill command.
Because ypur mastery already increases your pet damage, so i would like to think, that vers wouldnt affect that, to not be redundant

Versatility does buff dmg you deal from external sources though, like dmg trinkets or your Covenant ability.
I really hate vers. I wish they would stop putting it on my stuff. If I could reforge out of it, it wouldn’t be so bad. sigh
It’s really boring, like it’s just a flat increase. I don’t think they need 4 secondary stats really just Crit, mastery and haste would be fine. Although on most specs mastery is just a flat increase too

Maybe, but I like my mastery. It adds a HoT to all of my heals.

Mastery is the worst stat for some classes, like Vers is for other classes.
I like it on some of my toons, adding HOTs to your heals was one of my favorites when I played priest. Things like Frost DK “increase frost damage,” makes it basically redundant with Vers… I like the ones that have a weird proc chance even if Meters wise they end up the same
