Does Trader's Tender have a cap?

If I don’t see anything I want, can I just save up tender for next month or does it cap at some point?

It’s supposed to carry over. I have 1250 that I am saving because I had the mount already, Did not like the transmog so all I bought was the pet.

How did you get 1250 after the pet? My total stopped climbing at 1500. I assumed I was maxed for the month. The travel log tab is now grayed-out.

Mine went to 2000 and I spent 300, so I’m left with 1700. So buggy.

I only got 1500 total. have not spent any yet.

I believe the total you can make is 2000 in the month, but I haven’t seen anything that says there’s a cap on how much you can hold.

Given there is the ability to put an item on ‘hold’ because you can’t afford it that month, it seems likely that the amount carries over into the next month.

At least that would make sense, but this is Blizzard we’re talking about. Sense doesn’t always come into it.

Did you do the quest? We get 500 for existing this month, 500 monthly stipend, 500 from Log, and 500 from the one time quest.

I did the quest that sent me to Orgrimmar, the quest they give at the Trading post, Filled in the bar, and because of owning Dragonflight I got a bonus total of 2000 I bought the pet at 750. I still have 1250 left.

i was gonna chime in too that i only got 1500, but i dont own DF. theres my answer.

a few months later, is there a cap?

Not that I’ve seen. I’ve had upwards of 4500 before I bought the two mounts this month. If there is a limit it’s probably high enough that most people will never see it.

Some have 50K tender already so no.

How can they have 50k? Most you can have is like 6k

Math adds up that’s not buggy

I usually buy one thing so i was at like 2k+ It just carries over.

Yall just spend it all? Jeez

Twas sarcasm. Though that post is old and I dunno why I did it anymore.

No there is not.

Rasta enjoys spreading misinformation in every post they make.

We need to be able to save up a lot since things like mounts can cost about 950 or so and if they actually have several transmogs that are interesting like a mount it can drop fast.

If there was a hard cap, the tooltip on the currency would display your total as “X/10000” or something. Since it doesn’t, it’s probably safe to assume there isn’t one.
