So the known function is not working with the spell Eradicate.
/cast [known:Eradicate] Reap
Or
/cast [known:Eradicate] Eradicate
Will sometimes bug out because there is both a talent and a spell called Eradicate, and the talent is not a spell. This seems to happen all the time for me if I am in meta after combat has ended and then drop out of meta still outside of combat.
Which leads me to known spell ID
Eradicate spell ID should be 1225826, but-
/cast [known:1225826] Reap
Or
/cast [known:1225826] Eradicate
Simply doesn’t function when knowing Eradicate.
Using [noknown:reap,noknown:cull] doesn’t work either.
What are you trying to accomplish with this macro?
Basically this
/cast [nochanneling,mod:shift] Void Ray; [nochanneling,known:Eradicate] Reap; [nochanneling] Consume
I am not super great at the game, but in the past I have been able to use the [known:Spell] or [known:SpellID] to get by with some stuff. You are able to do this with every other transforming spell in the game, that I know of, but the same logic doesn’t seem to be built into Eradicate even though it has a separate spell ID.
are you attempting to make a cast sequence macro? Reap will always be eradicate if talented after void ray so you can just leave it as reap. That spell automatically changes after doing a check to see if you full casted void ray.
Also im unsure if consume may be throwing it off however i dont think macros of today can have these cast lines anymore due to macro changes over the years. You could prob do mod for voidray and when not modded cast reap. But consume being in there almost looks like an attempt at creating a 1 button macro for the rotation?
They want a fool proof reap macro that will never cancel void ray prematurely while they have eradicate talented.

I’d imagine if you’re playing with any amount of latency that’s kinda hard. You used to have latency prediction built into the cast bar but you can’t do that anymore in midnight so you have to either wait out the full channel + whatever delay you have, or try to clip it early and pray the cast ended server side.
this is true ive noticed it to the point where void ray seems to last way to long. Its Definitely a server side issue and hopefully something fixed soon as its rather annoying in world content. I have not noticed it during this weeks world tour for mythics
