Does this patch not require any download?

Normally on a patch day my b net will download something - even something small if most was done in background.

Yet today, nothing?

I’m saddened, because I feel like no download shows how small today’s patch really is

Do you have background downloads on in your launcher? I saw some downloads a week or so ago.

idk i have everything set to Download in background / auto so i dont notice any of the patches ever really anymore. …/shrug

It was a largish download last week.

I have them on, but normally I still have to download something on a patch day(usually small and takes just a few minutes). Mine are set to stop downloading when I am actually logged into the game, so they don’t always finish in the background.

When I started up today there was a download, didn’t really check how big it was though. Didn’t take long to update. 5-10ish minutes?

besides they have 4 more hours to push more stuff out before servers are “planned” to be back online. lol

Well, mine just started to download something. It’s weird, my launcher has been on for over an hour and nothing - randomly I just saw it started a download xD 1.03GB

My internet is extremely slow(DSL) so I always like to get the download going while servers are still down xD

Mine downloaded something earlier, and I assume when it gets closer to go-time I will have to download something again.

I wait with bated breath to do the Sin’dorei questline.

Reminder for people with high speed connections – make sure to go into the bnet app settings and disable the default 100kbps cap for patch downloads.

I have a gigabit fiber connection and that cap was making updates that would’ve been finished in somewhere between 30s and 2m needlessly take ages.

I shut down the game window earlier this afternoon and closed all processes. When the launcher came up, it started downloading.

If you really didn’t download anything, check your processes for wow.exe still running. It happened to me a couple of months ago.

bout an hour ago, I loaded my bnet launcher and it downloaded a 1.3gb update. Might just be slower to arrive to some people.

could also click the Cog wheel next to play, and click the " Check for Updates"
if your version doesn’t currently read 9.2.5.43903

Do you have PTR installed?

If so, today’s download is a mega-quick 51MB and you may never notice it.
