Other then Boomie every single spec on druid is a joke. Wanna tank? Play boomie, wanna heal? Play Boomie, wanna cat? Don’t. Like what the actual fudge. Also giving resto no feet runes and Efflorescence is awful. It absolutely won’t change us using WG and nourish for tank healing. So P3 is basically nothing 10 levels raid log doing the exact same thing as gnomer expect only once a week. Expect the biggest player drop ever

They have leaned so far into the meta of powershifting I have benched my druid permanently.
If and only if they reverse that is it coming back

Hunters feel your pain lol we are always minding our own business when Blizzard runs up with a giga nuke nerf, every time without fail. Ranged hunter is hot garbage too, making a ranged class go melee if we want to not be deadweight.

Power shifting is completely fine as long as the payout is worth it. Why put forth 10x the effort to get half the dps of a class with a quarter of the rotation?

I’m at the point of just quitting until phase 4, I don’t have a desire to play another class. Priests get everything cool under the sun and druids get a meh, it’s so frustrating cause they know what we wanted P1 and even P2 was ok cause nourish was an awesome rune but it was literally the only time we got last phase. Now we get essentially nothing we’ll still be forced into restokin and bear and cat get even more shafted I’ve legit never seen a bear MT not a single time all of SoD
If you enjoy it and have fun micromanaging it, that’s fine
I don’t play druid to min/max every tick of energy. I don’t enjoy needing a keybind to gain tthe energy to shred. All of the runes are pushing us to shred more frequently, and the set bonus explicitly ties shredding to powershifting.
They have turned a janky, abused system into the expected core playstyle.
I mean if you played feral dps in any of Classic Vanilla or TBC powershifting was still meta.

Druids just remind them to much of hunter pets.
Not mandatory? Do you realize how low your dps was if you weren’t powershifting in Classic?

And now in classic you won’t see druids at all!! Very fun, in SoM it was priests and paladins did tank healing and that was the only 2 healing classes allowed
If powershifting does dps comparable to the skill level required to execute it well, the class will do fine.
But if it’s not performing high, no one will want to do it.
If you want a simple rotation, just reroll to one of the other 10+ dps specs.
For the content I did? It was fine enough. I was competitive enough in dungeon content which is what I generally prefer.
Raiding has never been my primary passion, nor has PvP. It’s become increasingly clear that SoD, despite the promise of new fun abilities is increasingly disconnected from what I find enjoyable.
That isn’t a bad thing. Compared to the alternative we have now when it is performing high, you will have to do it.
You’ll still be fine without powershifting if that’s the content you’re looking to do.
The devs work from bed for 2 hrs a day its obvious they put no effort into the game

Except there is less casual dungeon content now than before. They have gutted 3 dungeons, turned them into raids and not added anything to replace it.
Like I said, I’m increasingly uninterested in supporting this gamestyle. Call me old and yelling at the stupid kids to get off the lawn, I guess.

This is a player made problem. “If you’re not first, you’re last” type mentality.
That’s understandable. The raid logging meta is over powering most of the “discovery” of this season.
Who wants to do twice the work for half the payout?
