a few times on long windrider flights I’ve used the “request stop” button, it’s never worked yet, if it’s not supposed to work, just take it off the interface, otherwise please fix
I’ve had it work for me before. Not saying it isn’t bugged though.
It seems to work sometimes. I’ve definitely had it not work, too, though.
well apparently it does something, it stopped for me this time 3 stops in … so it skipped 3 and then worked on the 4th … odd
I do recall that in vanilla, all flight paths were not directly connected to all other flight paths. Instead, there would be a specific route between two endpoints. Flight masters between the two endpoints were not necessarily directly connected to both end points.
I think you have to know a flight path between your start and ultimate destination. But if it fails, you can always relog.
yes an no, if you look at the flight route from thunderBluff to stoneTalon it shows a direct route but once you take off you it’s not direct, it’s some weird swoopy path that takes you by both flight points in barrens before getting to stoneTalon. The “request stop” button doesn’t work here so one would figure “ok, it goes by the map”.
Not really. So if you fly from Badlands to Sepulcher it shows both on the map and from the actual flight path you stop by several points. UC, TM, Arathi. But the “request stop” button only works to jump off in UC.
so, whatever, at best it’s just wildly inconsistent.
Which … is probably the way it was anyway.
I just had a frustrated moment.
So from what I can see is some routes are optimized to “skip” the flight masters, basically you fly to the area of the middle stop but go around it. While other paths you tap down at the flight master before continuing on your way. Routes where you tap down, the stop request works.
doesnt work when flying from moonglade to TB.
Sometimes it works , mostly it doesnt, sometimes if you hard exit wow you just fall from the sky.
You have to hit it then log out and log back in for it to properly work everytime.
