No, they’re like potato chips. Technically unnecessary, but I just can’t imagine life without them. Also I can never stop at eating just one.

Have you seen a female gnome whilst fishing? Go have a look. Roll a level one female Gnome. Any class; doesn’t matter. Get a fishing pole, and run down to the nearest pond. Cast it into the water and then look at your Gnome’s face. LOOK AT IT!!

I’d like to suggest the Scarlet Risen as an undead allied race, actually.
Make them visually distinct by having them burning with Light… forever. How? A dreadlord raised them, so nobody knows, not even them. But this way I get my psycho zombie paladin without “breaking the Lore”, which is apparently etched in stone (until someone changes it).
All jokes aside, the undead have so many flavors and being stuck with just “death knights” and “forsaken who are all humans at a certain level of decay” is a bit bleh.
So I hope they get a little something. Or to go full skeleton.

Also, we are getting “kitty from 70’s show” hair in SL. You’ll see at least one female Gnome on the forums, with that hair, named “Kitty.” I’ll just bet.

We’re the cherry on the WoW sundae. Sure, you could live without it but given an option I’ll always add a cherry. We add nutritional value to WoW’s empty calories.

Without Gnomes, the Alliance would have been destroyed by the Horde. You must keep in mind, that Gnomes are the reason the Alliance developed most science and technology. The Gnomes taught the Dwarves as well. Goblin tech on the Horde would have wiped out the Alliance before the Draenei ever showed up where it not for Gnomes. The Alliance should be grateful.
