Does the Blazing Drake even drop anymore?

Cause it sure feels like it doesn’t. I’ve been running Dragon Soul each week with 13 characters. This is the last Drake mount that i need for Awake the Drakes, but i don’t think i can last much longer. I’ve gotten 3 Experiment 12-Bs and 4 Lifebinder’s Handmaidens without seeing a single Blazing Drake. I can remember every bit of RP dialogue that comes out of Dragon Soul because I’ve done it so many times.

I’m starting to lose hope. For all those who do have this mount, how long did it take you? What mode were you in when you got it? Tell me your stories, I’m curious.

I remember the RP pain. It was the last one I needed as well, so I ended up shamefully purchasing it on the BMAH. I will never set foot in that raid again.

I’m sure if i was to try though it would go to above the thousands.

I’d be more concerned about ever actually seeing it.

I have Awake the Drakes, and the Blazing Drake was the one that triggered it… and it took ALL FOUR OF THE EVERS (forever). That mount had me wanting to punch my monitor in rage.

It does drop, but it’s not a fun mount to farm.

I thought they lowered the chances in Legion so that you’re more forced to buy it in the BMHA.

Could have been just rumoured but you’re probably better off buying it at this point.

I think the average price goes for about 300k.

I’ve honestly been thinking about just saving a whole bunch of gold and trying my luck on the BMAH.

300k Doesn’t sound bad, id expect that mount to go to the millions.

Keep in mind that’s on a low to normal population server.

on a full server yeah it’s going to be about a million at least.

Have an alt park right in front of the BMAH and have the gold ready. It’s one of the few good advantages of a low population server.

I saw 3 Experiment 12-B’s during my quest for the Blazing Drake. Finally got it. I was so jacked…took about 6 months if I recall. I started on one character, then expanded to a few more. I probably had 60-70 runs or so before it finally dropped.

I haven’t been back to that instance since.

Forgot to add. While I hated all the RP…one I get Spine down it wasn’t too difficult. Just a bit time consuming.

12-B dropped twice for me. But never the other mounts.

I’ve been trying for years and I’m just so Burt out on it. Like the OP it’s the only one left on my list and it just won’t drop.

I would give you my dupes if i could.

But hey, if that’s all you’re after at least you only have to get to Ultraxion, which is a lot faster than getting to Deathwing. I hate the spine fight.

i got that blazing drake mount lol i jsut checked… took me well over 100 runs and a couple years of farming it off an on but earlier this year it fianlly dropped for me and i also have expirement 12B as well so other then xmog i have no reason to ever to DS again GL OP… keep at it the mount will drop
