The amount of Warlocks using the Blueberry tank pet, and Hunter pets taunting in low level dungeons is insane.
Honestly, I don’t even care anymore if a pet taunts off. I will just watch the pet die.
So in 1 dungeon, Hunter had a wolf. Died over and over. But do you think they turned pet taunt off? Naw.
I thought a while ago they did some fix that pets would automatically disable taunt upon entering a dungeon? Since pre-patch, no longer seems to be the case.
And also, why do so many warlocks do dungeons with a Blueberry?

They did. It’s still in place, but I have had a couple scenarios where my growl was turned on and I have no clue why.
Blueberries being out I have no excuse for. I usually call it out as kindly as I can when I see it. A simple “Hey, in dungeons you can go for imp for damage or fel hunter for interrupts”

Yup, it automatically is turned off but sometimes it bugs and the pet still taunts. I’ve had times where taunt isn’t shiny, it looks like it’s off but my pet still taunts.

Sometimes I swear I’m hallucinating about growl being on or off on my hunter alt. Makes me nervous occasionally!

The problem is that leveling up in an instance causes the auto-case status of your pet’s buttons to swap back to their out-of-instance configuration, while not reapplying the glowy borders.
Since leveling in a dungeon with like 80% bonus xp causes you to level in basically seconds, it means the problem is popping up more frequently. Turn the growl/taunts on and off when you level and it’ll stop being a problem for like 2 minutes.

As others said, it appears to be some sort of bug. I was in a dungeon and my pet kept getting threat. I checked autocast on growl and it wasnt showing autocast on, but it was still going on cd. I would suggest letting the hunter know instead of handling it passive agressively by letting the pet die and coming to the forums to complain.
On the voidwalker…shrug. Newer locks just like the pet? What level do you get the various pets nowadays?
