Hey MG. I’m fairly new to the server. I’ve watched Moonguard from a far… proudmoore, lol, and haven’t enjoyed the chatter that Moonguard provides. The alliance community seems healthy.
I’m interested in a casual guild with Normal/some heroic raiding. I’ve done the AoTC stuff in the past, and been around since Feb 05. So I’ve “been there done that” so to speak. Now, I just want to enjoy the game with fun people.
I’m not much of an RP’er at all… however, this may sound odd, but I love the atmosphere. It’s cool to me to go into a pub or location and see people RP’ing. If that makes sense.
Any guilds out there that do some raiding on the weekends? maybe some M+'s as well? really any relaxed content.
I’m an army of Gnomes :)… I main my Lock, Warrior, Mage and Hunter. Though I have a Gnome of every class!
Thanks all. Hoping to find a cool place to call home here.
This is the exact reason I call MG home. Its so lively and everyone I meet here is great. The random interactions and parade of tree ents in Dornagal are super fun.
League of Danger Noodles is a super casual guild. We’ve knocked out Normal, and are popping into heroic. We’re currently 1/8 H and casually going to go towards AotC. But we’re not going to stress about it. We’re a bunch of casual peeps honestly. Maybe we wipe, maybe we don’t. But we’re not going to get caught up over it.
We raid once a week on Fridays 8:30pm EST to 10:30pm EST. Depending on your definition - that may or may not be the weekend >.>
We host one Mythic + group. And another has been attempting to form - but a few of those people have IRL stuff going on (and IRL always >> over WoW). But we usually jam for sure.
I know some of the things you mentioned and my responses don’t exactly match up 100% - but I figured I’d post anyways. Since at our core we’re a casual bunch of friends who just love playing WoW. And we never stress over it. And when we do we take a step back. This is our OG guild recruitment post (note we no longer do the saturday morning raid - again IRL >> WoW).
If you’re interested in talking more - feel free to message me on Discord → blunderhound
I would 100% start giving RP a try if you already enjoy the atmosphere! Start slowly dipping your toes in a bit more. Download TRP3, hang out in the Mage District and Park, maybe come to an event, start scouting out guilds, get immersed what makes the server unique. Its only has a great atmosphere because people are here getting involved in it.
My favorite feature of TRP is the map button that scans for players. I start reading profiles and, if I’m feeling brave, I’ll casually stroll past to see if it’s my vibe.
