When doing m+ I notice I die way more often when playing as outlaw vs sub. Even though I do more damage overall outlaw I also seem to die or run into hp issue ve sub. Does any rouge feels the same or mostly just me.
Not really, its all what cds you have at the time. Combat gets cds back quick (thatâs there thing). Us Subtlety rogueâs donât have anything crazy. The 10% node in our tree isnât crazy, more like a âI donât feint because Iâm lazyâ talent.
Iron stomach can be pretty nice though paired up with recupe and if you use soothing darkness for vanish as Combat.
2 vanishes as a Subtlety deal aint going to help flat footed people anyway.
Positioning and CDs are king from least expensive to most expensive everytime. Also helps to keep hefty health potions too.
Grappling hook resets have saved me an innumerable amount of times. Being able to use mobility without a target is very underrated for surviving imo.
Nah, outlaw has way better suvivability and mobility than sub.
Likely youâre more used to playing Sub. Itâs the opposite for me, in both M+ and open world.
Lemme guess - do you find yourself energy starved a lot as OL? This happens to me a lot with sub and mut, so usually Iâm unable to use crimson vial or feint. Iâve just chalked it up to having much better muscle memory with outlaw by now.
If you are talking about dungeons, dance has a temporary aggro clear for itâs duration. So if there are people on the aggro table the mob will go for them instead during dance.
Canât speak from outlaw perspective but I feel insanely sturdy as sub. Feint during big aoe burst windows you know to expect (NO bosses 1-2 are a great example). Vial between packs to keep myself topped off. You can shadow step allies, so every 30 sec you have a great repositioning tool. 2 charges of vanish make some mechanics a cakewalk (spear on last boss of NO).
Definitely felt it when I picked up other classes.
Can speak from an Outlaw perspective, but not too much from a PvE point of view. Outlaw only has one Vanish but can reduce the cooldown on Evasion and Feint with Float Like A Butterfly, which pairs well with Elusiveness.
Makes you feel CHONKY if you use it right.
Also Killing Spree gives a flat 35% damage reduction now? Itâs kinda wacky.
But does all of that bundle together with the occasional leech buff to be defensively better than Sub, I dunno.
The fact that outlaw favours vers is enough to give roughly 10% damage mitigation by itself.
both sub and outlaw can have surviivability playstyles. subs is just much more difficult to pull off. but, outlaw in its generic state, is ment to survive out of stealth for much longer periods.
