Does stat priority change if you take crusading vs templar?

Is it still Strength > Versatility > Critical Strike ~= Haste > Mastery for both templar strikes and crusading? or does haste go up in priority for crusading strikes?

It does goes up if only because Templar strike doesn’t have haste scaling.

haste does go up but not by much, you sim your upgrades cause even with csaa you’ll find that things like mastery or verse being stronger upgrades than haste

I was under the impression that haste and crit are better than mastery.

crit and haste are marginally better than mastery, but ret still wants a somewhat even spread of all 4 stats. hence why simming upgrades is important

Cut your haste in half on Templar Strike built and see how your dps suffers

??
What does this have to do with haste scaling increasing when TS is not selected?

The question was if haste went up in priority depending on whether you choose TS or CS.
The answer is yes it does because TS scales badly with haste, which decrease the value of the stat.

I didn’t say haste had no value for TS builds, it just has much less than for CS builds.

It’s not an all or nothing thing. You’re coming off with an extreme scenario I didn’t even suggested…

As Araghon said, you should always sim every piece anyway.

I personally play with CS and favor haste not only for the implications to CS itself, but means your losing another button to press you ideally would want to reduce your GCD along side as to accommodate for that loss. So you don’t spend to much time idol waiting for something to come off CD.

How are some of you running CS achieving such high haste numbers (like 50%+) from gear alone?

Haste stat in the armory is bugged, do not care about what it says there. Most people have around 30%~ haste
