I was told (although I’m not sure if it’s true) that if I go to the Enclave in Oribos, speak with Ta’elfar (Trader of Histories), and select “Tell me the one about An Audience With Arrogance”, and fight Sire Denathrius, there stands a chance that he will drop the “Will of Remornia” battlepet.
Well I’ve been doing that week after week and still no drop. So my question is does this method work insofar as getting that battlepet is concerned?
Using that method puts me in a very fast LFR que, and killing the boss is easy, and so I’m sceptical. Anyone else here use that approach in order to get the “Will of Remornia” battlepet?

Yes. I got Will of Remornia exactly that way, through solo LFR queue, last expansion,

You can do it thru LFR, and you can also get the skip quest for Nathria done with its Warband-wide status to try and farm it, since it lets you get straight to Sludgefist and the last 2 bosses after him.
A guildie got it last night on Lightbringer. It is definitely still there.

The pet does still drop. I got it 2 weeks ago doing the exact same thing. Just a heads up though, you do not loot the pet from Sir Denathrius, the pommel just shows up in your bags. Right click the pommel and you get the pet.
Just got the pet yesterday spamming lfr on all my alts.
Just got the Will of Remornia on 19th try.
No idea if it makes any difference at all but this was first non-80 alt I ran thru. A 73 druid with so-so gear in Heroic mode. Battles took considerably longer but never any worries about health.

Incidentally, I got a second Will of Remorna last week on a level 80.
