Does San’layn bring anything defensive?

I know it has 5% reduced physical damage taken while standing in D&D, am I missing anything else? It seems to be more tanky than Death Bringer.

Reduced CD on Iceborne Fortitude if you’re killing a lot of mobs and extra leech if you want that, as well as haste which will let the leech be slightly more effective.

It makes IBF significantly stronger and increases your overall sustain by a bit.

Rune-carved plates saw a small nerf recently, and due to the requirement of it applying throughout the rotation, you have a bit less upfront mitigation as db compared to just dropping your DnD on a pull.

However, the buff from reaper’s mark explosion results in a higher net armor value vs packs, so it’s a toss-up.

Either can be sturdy (never prot warrior sturdy, but still sturdy)

When the blood boy dies he gives you essentially a full heal. Also the extra haste means more runic power gen per time, which is still valuable even though death strike isn’t what it used to be.
