Does ranked solo shuffle rating count?

2s has always been the meme bracket and any achievement you got in theyre basically didnt count. kind of like getting BFA glad lol. but now im thinking RSS is the meme bracket as you got players reaching crazy rating 2600+ mean while you check out theyre 2s and 3s rating and its like 1200 lol yeah something not right

who cares /thread

I don’t get the hate on 2s bracket. 2s is way more tame and feels really fun to play. 3s is great aswell but suffers a bit from the ridiculous damage. You can make up for it with communication and team building.

RSS is just random and doesn’t feel good to play. I know that’s the point of it. Whenever someone applies for a group of mine and I see “2k ss xp” I deduct 1000 rating and go from there.

Did you play the game and win the rounds?
Did your rating go up?
Did the enemy weep before your might?

Solo shuffle is harder than 2s and more complicated than 3s due to ridiculous mismatches. Only those with true patience can overcome. They can try to meme it if they want but its going to overcome 2s and 3s in players just you wait.
If all are yes then of course it counts.

Those points don’t make it a better mode. Is it casual friendly? Yes.
Does it teach you how arena really works? No.
Only thing ss teaches any of these players is how to “go”

Winning is what works.

Winning is what we all want isn’t it

kennie where do you hang out at in game ive never seen ur character in game

I’m usually working on some achievement, mog thing or just gathering while in queue. I feel like I’ve seen you, so maybe it was just on an alt you didn’t recognize.

There is so much luck involved in solo shuffle matches as well as in the rating gain itself it’s crazy. I get to go 6-0 in a 2400+ lobby as ele in a triple caster lobby but can just lie down and cry if there is triple melee/assassination rogue.

Esp. since queues are long and win streaks are so rewarding you can really get some crazy swings in rating through no fault of your own.

I think the rating would be a better representation of skill if the gains and losses in rating were more granular and queues were shorter
