Does your race affect things like jump height, or more likely, fitting into small spaces?

Yes, sure does. I remember gnomes could never wall jump very well and taurens have trouble fitting into a lot of spaces especially if they’re on a kodo mount.

Didn’t gnome use to drown in puddles of water before they fixed that? Not sure what patch it was or if it was just original alpha/beta.

I’m not sure about Gnomes but I vaguely remember that there was a point of time when Moonkin “breathed through their feet” and could drown while standing in an inch of water.

It’s so funny when everyone else runs by a puddle and gnomes have to swim through it.

It wasn’t Classic, but Black Morass instance in TBC was awful for Gnomes for this reason as I recall.
