I’m planning on getting into WoW Anniversary and I would very much like to play on the PVP server Nightslayer however I was told that there are more bot players then human players there. I just wanted to know if that is true. My main focus in WoW Annivesary is to do raiding content. If the server has no really human population then imma go elsewere.
Also side question here but if the server is good to play in which faction would you reccomend?
Nightslayer has the most bots, most rmt and most griefers.
If you like to wpvp go there but don’t expect it to be like it used to be.
If you want a better leveling experience with more real players go Dreamscythe
End game raiding content there is no difference between the two.
It’s not that bad you will hardly notice them.
Most bots are farming instance content on both nightsslayer and dreamscythe, as those are the most lucrative farms in vanilla. There is bots in the open world using out of bound hacks to hide and snag black lotus too, but the bots aren’t as in your face constantly as you’d think, especially on NS when they will easily get camped.
Bots infest all versions of WoW retail hides them fairly well, yet they’re easily identifiable in classic. Just /who Naxx on any server at any time on Cata classic.
You get lotus in instances from herbs there is no point camping spawns.
I got one in less than 30 min in DME.
Zero competition in there.
I can pick almost every node too. And get the herbs, and ghost mushroom, and chests, and felcloth from satyrs.
EZ life
Wait until the adamantite quarries are mined dry once we get into Outland.

If you want a populated server, unfortunately, there is no elsewhere to go. Nightslayer might have more bots than Dearthscythe but ultimately, players have demonstrated a willingness to pay to skip game content and other humans are going to capitalize on that.
It seems like right now you have to choose between playing with a lot of other players and a lot of bots, or playing with a few other players and no bots.
Sorry
