Does Nightbane no longer drop the mount?

I was under the impression that Nightbane had a 20% drop rate per person each week.
Is this no longer obtainable? Im 0 for 11.

O.o i thought it was guaranteed to drop for someone in group who doesn’t have it

I did it with one other friend and we got it the first try, but I didn’t get it to drop again so maybe you’re just unlucky?

if u have 5 people not loot locked its 100% for one person…20% per person

I mean if you have 5 people and 4 of them have it i thought it was 100% chance for the one person that doesn’t have it

Which is why in legion we ran groups with people who had it already o.o but i might be misremembering

But if people in your group arent getting it then no idea

seems to be the case for every drop item i want…ive gotten crap off of nightbane that has under a 1% drop rate in fact the only thing i havent gotten from his loot table is the highest drop rate item…the mount…about to call shenanigans on blizz here.

That’s exactly how it works, if the 4 other people in the group aren’t loot locked and already have it then the one who doesn’t should get it.

ive been running solo which is why i thought there may have been a change whee u couldnt get it solo

I would say you’re just unlucky, I think it took me about 5 lockouts solo on multiple characters before I even saw it.

at 20% it should take 5 runs on average if you had 5 lockouts on multiple characters you were way past 5 runs…right now if i would get it first try next week i would be at an 8% drop rate.

I’ve also been running this solo on multiple characters and nothing yet. Feel like @20% I shoulda had it by now.

I could be wrong all I know is I ran it for quite a while and with my luck I feel it was more than 5… hopefully you get it before it drags on though.

your talking to a guy that has run mythic HFC so many times that I have looted multiple full sets for every class except the one i am going there for which i have 2 pieces total…my account is cursed when it comes to loot drops…ive been trying for the halloween mount since it was introduced between 2 accounts

I’ve come to the conclusion that I will just never see that mount in my bags at this point.

I am going to say unlucky. My bf and I ran it once and it dropped for me the first time. It’s definitely still obtainable. I hope you get it soon <3

it wouldn’t be impossible at a 20% chance for you to never see it literally ever

Its a 20% chance per person in the raid. You MUST have 5 people for 100% chance. You keep hitting 80% bad luck to get it fast, and even then 1 person gets it.
