Does mount drop separetely in 10 vs 25

I can’t seem to find definitive answer on this and most response seems to be dated.
But for legacy raid (WOLK). If a rare mount doesn’t drop in raid size of 10, would it drop in raid size of 25 on the same week with same char?

I don’t believe you can run the raid on the same difficulty with 2 different group sizes.

Also do note some loot drops are different on different group sizes (invincible is only 25 man heroic)

I thought heroic/normal/mythic is not available for legacy raid like WOLK. Back then it was only 10 vs 25

Trial of the Crusader is the first raid to include Heroic difficulty, which is kept into icecrown citadel, all of Cataclysm*, and MoP up to but not including Siege of Orgrimmar, which has flexible group scaling (10-30 man) Normal and Heroic and 20-man Mythic. That’s the standard moving forwards

*Firelands, Ulduar, and Black Temple use flexible scaling 10-30 man, firelands has normal and heroic flexible size but the other two only have normal difficulty. They can also be entered from their expansion capital (Stormwind or Orgrimmar for Firelands) during timewalking week for as a special timewalking raid difficulty, which will not benefit from the collection event but does reward a piece of hero raid loot with a chance at a mount in the box as well, selected from a list of the relevant expansion’s mounts.

ah crap… I guess if I do normal first I can’t do heroic of that week

I’m scared to ask, but how long did you spend farming on normal?

na only 2 characters. and I only started farming today

I do hate how they removed the ability to run all of the ‘difficulties’ for wrath raids in the same week on the same character when cata launched. Particularly for ICC which has 4 technically. 10M N, 10M H, 25M N, 25M H. Given that ICC has different appearances for each of those.

I do wish it didn’t work that way as well. I couldn’t recall when the change happened, but I definitely do not appreciate it, and would prefer it works like modern raids where you can do all 4 difficulties.
