Theres been a stir about the possibility that high elfs have been seeded in the bloodlines around the leaders of azeroth. Lets examine the evidence.
As we all know Jaina has blue eyes which is a significant sign that she was sired by a high elf. She uses a staff which is also a weapon a high elf would use which is another sign that she is in fact a high elf. She wears a hood and covers her ears with her hair. Is she really hiding the ears of a high elf?
As you can see the evidence is there, but blizzard hasn’t confirmed it yet. We dont know if thats the reason they postponed blizzcon or not.
Staff user? Nope, sorry. Is Dhadgar an elf too? How about Guldan?
A hood that covers her ears??? ROFLMAO no, there exists no such hood anywhere as can tame the unbridled fury of an elf’s ears. Thank ye for the belly laugh though!
This is fantasy in general…look at D&D where, for example, dragons can reproduce with literally everything. You could somewhat argue the logic of Azeroth native races being able to interbreed (once the curse of flesh hit them), but then you have orcs and draenei able to interbreed when they originated on entirely different planets, and then orcs being able to interbreed with humans. >_>;
Honestly, I find this question to be kind of moot because Blizzard has retconned everything like there’s no yesterday. Jaina is a prime example of this. She looks nothing like the Kul Tiran models that Blizzard came up with 15 years after they created the Jaina model. Why? No reason. Blizzard just didn’t think about differentiating Kul Tirans from other humans until they needed an extra race to toss to the Alliance to balance out the races they were giving the Horde. The answer to your question is that she’ll be part elf if Blizzard decides she’s part elf. She won’t be if they decide she’s not. There’s honestly no evidence that’s going to predict it one way or the other because there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the many retcons in the game.
