Hey guys ik this is a dumb question but whats a good ilvl to run +20s as a healer ive been told ilvl doesnt matter for 15s but now my friends are dragging me along 20s im 260 ilvl so is that good enough?

if they’re bringing you, they think you can handle it. yeah, 260 is fine if they’re smart about avoiding avoidable damage and using personals for the big damage times.

Yeah, probably. If your group is good, and doesn’t take avoidable damage left and right, I think you should be good to go at that ilvl. It’s a little harder as a healer because there aren’t good ways to sim your character, but you can still use things like warcraftlogs rankings and subcreation to find out what are the best things to use.
It’ll be hard to fix their mistakes if they’re not so good, though, and healing a bad tank on grievous seems like torture. So I hope your group is good, and if they are, good luck and have fun!
Was able to do +20/+21 with a friend group at ilvl 260 on my druid, while they were more ilvl 270 range.
So as long as you know what you’re doing, and they aren’t just standing in every mechanic, it’s definitely doable!
